About [ The Role]
For our Client we are looking for a qualified Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer with a good knowledge of English to join our team.
This opportunity is for 6 months duration with a possibility of extension.
Your Tasks
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for deploying and hardening Windows 11 and Windows Server 2025 according to CIS Level 1 and Level 2 benchmarks.
- Automate Windows Server and Active Directory configuration, security baselines, and operational tasks.
- Integrate automation workflows with DevOps toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Collaborate with security experts to implement CIS-based controls and compliance monitoring.
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and training for standardized automation practices.
- Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of automated deployment frameworks.
Your qualifications:
- Strong experience with Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025) and Windows 11 administration.
- Hands-on expertise in automation and scripting tools: Ansible (playbook development for Windows), PowerShell (Windows automation & security), Python (scripting and integration), Jenkins (CI/CD automation)
- Solid understanding of Active Directory configuration, automation, and hardening.
- Practical knowledge of CIS Benchmarks and security hardening practices.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code concepts and DevOps workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and documentation skills (English required, German an advantage).
