About [ The Role]
For our Client we are looking for a qualified Security Architect with a good knowledge of German and English to join our team.
Your Tasks
- Act as a consultant for engineering teams on secure software design and development practices
- Lead and perform security reviews of applications, systems, and infrastructure
- Evaluate results from external audits and drive effective risk mitigation strategies
- Plan, commission, and oversee security audits across products and processes
- Assessment of known vulnerabilities and definition of mitigation measures
- Provide architectural guidance and long-term security strategy for software and cloud environments
- Design and document security concepts, policies, and standards Support and lead incident response and management activities
Your qualifications:
- 3 years+ of experience in security roles within finance, SaaS, banking, or government industries
- Strong expertise in application security, cloud security, cryptography, DevSecOps, and identity management
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and security audits
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Solid understanding of secure software architecture and risk management principles
- Hands-on experience in modern software environments (Java, Kubernetes, AWS)
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001 frameworks and best practices; Experience mentoring or guiding engineering teams on security topics; Ability to balance security priorities with business and engineering needs
