About [ The Role]
We’re looking for skilled Python Developers to join our team and support one of Europe’s major banking clients.
In this role, you’ll work on business-critical systems that power banking operations, automation workflows, and integrations between multiple enterprise environments. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, architects, and business experts to ensure seamless performance, automation, and scalability of key financial applications.
Your Tasks
- Develop and maintain Python-based solutions for critical banking systems.
- Implement and optimize workflow automation and scheduling processes using tools like Airflow or Control-M.
- Support application maintenance activities, including performance monitoring, incident resolution, and version upgrades.
- Manage integrations across systems, databases, and APIs, ensuring data flow consistency and security.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Database Administrators, and Infrastructure teams to maintain stability and scalability.
- Deliver clean, well-documented code that aligns with internal development standards and best practices.
Your qualifications:
- Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in building and maintaining applications.
- Familiarity with scheduler/workflow automation tools such as Apache Airflow, Control-M, Autosys, Stonebranch, or similar.
- Solid experience working in Linux environments — comfortable with scripting, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases (querying, optimization, and integration).
- Proven track record in application maintenance, ensuring reliability and operational continuity.
- Hands-on experience in system integrations, particularly between operating systems, databases, applications, and APIs.
- Exposure to banking or enterprise environments is a strong plus.
