About [ The Role]
For our Client we are looking for a qualified partner for a Linux & Automation Engineer to design, implement, and operate modern infrastructure and deployment environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux systems, virtualization, containerization, and automation, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable platforms for software delivery.
Your Tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based environments
- Manage and optimize virtual environments (KVM) and container platforms (Podman)
- Ensure system security and compliance, including SELinux configuration and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
- Automate operational and deployment tasks using Python and Bash
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability and efficiency
- Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization
Your qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration
- Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly KVM
- Experience with containerization tools (Podman preferred)
- Solid understanding of Linux security concepts, especially SELinux
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or similar)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash
