About [ The Role]
We are looking for an experienced Ruby / Ruby on Rails Developer to join an international team working on a large-scale public sector emergency coordination system.
The project involves maintaining and enhancing a suite of over 20 in-house web applications and one mobile app that play a vital role in ensuring public safety and operational efficiency.
Your Tasks
- Develop, maintain, and improve Ruby on Rails applications that support critical public services
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and optimize new features and functionalities
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern development standards
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and integration efforts
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and process automation
Your qualifications:
- Solid hands-on experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails (ideally Ruby ≥ 3.x, Rails ≥ 7.x)
- Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and CI/CD principles
- Good grasp of clean code, design patterns, and best practices in web application development
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
